Volunteering at WordCamp Nagpur 2024: What makes it Special?

So, here’s the big news: I’m glad to announce that I’ll be volunteering at WordCamp Nagpur 2024! This marks a big step in my WordPress journey, and I couldn’t be more excited to share this with you.

Who am I?

Hey there ???? I’m Satyam Vishwakarma, and I do all sorts of things with WordPress. I’m a diploma engineer turned Blogger and WordPress Consultant. I was a part of the WordPress 6.5 release as a Core Contributor.

I’m gearing up for my first in-person WordCamp volunteer role. After a series of online and in-person volunteering experiences, including the WordPress Kerala Photo Festival 2024 and PHPCamp 2024. Although I was selected to volunteer at WordCamp Europe 2024 (unfortunately, I couldn’t make it due to visa issues), this event is a special new chapter for me.

What’s changing?

Due to recent shifts in my capacity to contribute, I’m reducing my overall involvement. But don’t worry—my commitment to the WordPress community remains strong. This change shows I’m focusing better, but I’m still really excited and committed to the WordPress community.

Why WordCamp Nagpur 2024 is Special?

This year’s WordCamp is set to be exceptional with the “WordPress For Startups” theme. Scheduled for September 28th at the Chitnavis Centre in Civil Lines, Nagpur, the event will have special talks for startups, smart speakers, and lots of chances to meet people. It’s all about bringing new ideas and helpful expert tips for using WordPress to grow.
